Vitamin B Chemical name: thiamine. It is water soluble. Deficiency may cause beriberi and Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome. Good sources include: yeast, pork, cereal grains, sunflower seeds, brown rice, whole-grain rye, asparagus, kale, cauliflower, potatoes, oranges, liver, and eggs.
